We can't believe we are half the way through the year already! What a 6 months it has been with big changes going on in Perth with the closure of McEwens having an effect on footfall in the town centre.
I have just got back from Barcelona visiting daughter Lucy, son-in-law Jordi and darling 15 month old Brodie. He's just at the stage where you could just eat him... he's so gorgeous! But i'm his granny and I am biased! The stunning city, the people, the fashion and the culture are just fabulous and as for the food - oh wow! I love sitting at one of my favourite pavement cafes sipping my cafe con leche muy caliente and watching the glamour and style of continental women. It is so inspiring and I love to come back with new ideas for future designs.
I meet the most amazing people in my little emporium! In conversation with this lovely lady I discovered that she once worked for Sir Hardy Amies as his tailor. Can you imagine how wonderful it must have been to work with this iconic designer. My thanks to Janet Pankhurst, I just love listening to your stories.
We are starting to get ready for the GWCT Scottish Game Fair (1-3 July) where Blues & Browns will be exhibiting again as well as being the Best Dressed Ladies Sponsor.
Make sure you pop along and see us! We will have wet weather gear and fair weather outfits so you can be ready for whatever the Scottish Weather decides to throw at us!
